Hospitals across North America assemble to discuss strategies and software for driving physician adoption of EHR-related technology to improve patient care and attain Meaningful Use
WALTHAM, MA – May 7, 2012 – PatientKeeper®, Inc., the leading provider of physician healthcare information systems, today opened its fifth PatientKeeper User Group conference, and the first one focused exclusively on the company’s clinical workflow applications for physicians.
The conference, being held at Le Meridien Cambridge-MIT, in Cambridge, MA, has assembled physician and technology executives from hospitals and practice groups across the U.S. and Canada for discussions and workshops about automating and streamlining physicians’ clinical workflow.
PatientKeeper’s clinical and financial workflow software is used by more than 45,000 physicians to access and act on patient information from PCs, laptops, smartphones and tablets. PatientKeeper is an overlay to existing hospital information systems, so it allows hospitals to leverage their existing IT investments and infrastructure.
The two-day agenda comprises 18 sessions, including panel discussions with physician executives and hospital CIOs; PatientKeeper product presentations and demonstrations; and hands-on workshops for customers interested in extending the value of their PatientKeeper implementation.
Session highlights from the 2012 PatientKeeper User Group conference will be posted to Twitter @patientkeeper (#pkug12).
