See You at HIMSS16

February 23, 2016  |  Category: Company Updates

We’re now a week away from the annual healthcare IT industry mega-event, HIMSS. For sheer spectacle, this year the show, back in Las Vegas, will be competing with the host city. But glitz aside, what’s happening in the exhibit halls and in the conference sessions will demand much attention.

Healthcare Dive flagged five topics vital to the future of the industry that will be addressed on the HIMSS16 conference agenda, several of which are in PatientKeeper’s wheelhouse: analytics, interoperability, and innovation. These capabilities are central to enabling “technology-enhanced healthcare,” which PatientKeeper CEO Paul Brient describes in his forthcoming e-book,  A Promise Unfulfilled: Why Information Technology Hasn’t Improved Healthcare—and What It Will Take to Get There. “In 10 to 20 years, I believe we’ll look back on many of our medical practices today and regard them as antiquated as applying leeches for bloodletting,” thanks in large part to advances in healthcare IT, Brient writes.

Please visit our booth (#5249) at HIMSS16 to see and discuss physician-facing solutions that map to these exciting healthcare industry trends. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas.
