Meaningful Recognition

It’s always gratifying to have one’s hard work recognized by others – especially when those “others” were the intended beneficiaries of the work. We’re not talking about “Academy Awards”-style ego gratification, but rather validation from customers that the product you spent years building does the job it was meant to do, and does it well.

So when KLAS® Research recently published a report about PatientKeeper CPOE based on interviews with PatientKeeper customers, we took notice. KLAS’s report acknowledges the superiority of PatientKeeper CPOE’s usability – remarkably, even when compared against the complete hospital EMR systems offered by major competitors – and the speed and ease with which users learn our software. Those were two of the goals we set when we first began designing PatientKeeper CPOE five years ago.

Of course, there’s always room for improvement, and good customers are willing to offer guidance in that regard, too. All told, the KLAS report provides PatientKeeper (and the healthcare IT market generally) with validation of the “overlay” approach to extending HIS functionality for physicians.
