Does Medical Data Exchange Improve Patient Management?
[Interview with CMIO of PatientKeeper customer Conway Medical Center]
Healthcare IT developers need to begin designing more effective technologies for improving interoperability, sharing data quickly, and breaking down barriers between hospitals and medical practices. Dr. Paul Richardson, Vice President of Clinical Informatics and Utilization and Chief Medical Information Officer of Conway Medical Center, spoke with EHRIntelligence.com about some of the benefits seen with new tools that increase interoperability. Richardson first discussed the early days of adopting PatientKeeper and EHR technology.
