During the charge capture process, PatientKeeper P4P automatically prompts the physician with simple, context-appropriate questions that are required for PQRI measurement.

Gathering the quality data and reporting PQRI measures is challenging and usually require paper forms that are often overlooked. PatientKeeper P4P integrates the capture of PQRI measures within the charge capture workflow. The result is improved physician compliance—with a few clicks, physicians are able to submit appropriate quality-compliance data without disruption.

• Support for All CMS PQRI Measures –

  Using unique combinations of CPT and ICD-9 codes, PatientKeeper P4P captures quality performance data for all measures associated with the CMS PQRI program.

• Simplified Workflow –

  Underlying logic triggers the presentation of each appropriate/relevant form for the CPT and/or ICD-9 code entered for charge-capture. Clinicians answer a few additional questions – such as “Was antiplatlet therapy prescribed?” There are no codes to remember or clinical disruptions.

• Capture Additional Quality Information –

  You can custom-extend P4P forms to capture additional quality information, such as HEDIS or JCAHO measures.

• Optional Analytics –

  Use PatientKeeper Charge Analytics to see a dashboard view of each reported measure or analyses of RVUs, CPTs, ICD-9s, lag time, and more.

• Billing System Interfaces –

  CPT-II codes and modifiers for quality measures accompany the charge across the outbound billing interface.

• Financial Benefits –

  You can achieve 1.5 percent additional reimbursement by reporting at least three measures in 80 percent of cases where the measure is reportable.
