Problem List
PatientKeeper's Problem List module helps maintain up-to-date problem lists for each of your patients. It allows you to easily keep abreast of your patients' clinical problems, relieving you of this previously time-consuming task. When used together with other modules developed for the PatientKeeper platform, the Problem List module can support billing, medical necessity checking, and long-term planning.
The Problem List module interfaces with existing clinical information systems and supports both the standard ICD9 dictionary and free text entries.
In a hospital setting, Problem List assists medical teams to collaboratively manage patients. Once clinical problems are added or modified by one person, the update is propagated to other team members who also have relationship to the patient. This feature is particularly useful in environments where there are several clinicians on the team (intern, resident, fellow, attending) or night float residents that cover evenings before signing out to the day team.
